THEMES

Seven themes for your AI workshop or talk

Each theme comes from work I do every week. Combine them, or let me tailor one to your sector.

01

Build your own AI agent team

One person runs a whole web studio with a team of AI agents. This is how it works, and how you set up your first one.

ForFounders, SME teams, ops & marketing leads, curious developers
You walk away with
  • A map of agent roles: builder, QA, outreach, ops
  • Your first agent with a clear task, tools and guardrails
  • A human-in-the-loop checklist: what an agent may do alone, and what always needs your OK
FormatKeynote · half day · full day
02

From idea to live website with AI coding agents

From a blank page to a live URL in one session, with AI agents doing the typing and you making the decisions.

ForEntrepreneurs, students, marketers, junior developers
You walk away with
  • A small site of your own, live on a real URL
  • The loop: brief → agent → review → deploy (Git + Vercel)
  • How to check what an agent builds before it goes live
FormatHands-on half day · full day · student edition
03

AI for SMEs: practical automation

No AI strategy deck. Three tasks from your own week, automated, with you staying in control.

ForSME owners and teams, non-profits, self-employed
You walk away with
  • A shortlist of three automations for your business: mail, follow-ups, CRM/Notion, reporting
  • The DCCFC model: goal, context, constraints, format, check
  • Clear limits on privacy and GDPR, and what you always check yourself
FormatKeynote · half day in-company
04

AI video & voice for marketing

Short videos and voice-overs for your brand, made with AI, and where the line is.

ForMarketing & comms teams, creators, agencies, shop owners
You walk away with
  • A script → voice → video pipeline (ElevenLabs, Higgsfield and similar tools)
  • A first short clip for your own brand
  • Rules on consent, voice rights and labelling AI content

  • How to use AI to learn, without letting it do your thinking

ABOUT RUBEN

Ruben Thielman, AI speaker and builder from Lokeren

I don’t teach AI from slides. I run my studio on it.

I’m Ruben Thielman, founder of Studio Thielman in Lokeren (Belgium). I build and host websites for local businesses, and I build them with AI coding agents.

Behind the studio sits a team of AI agents that I set up and steer myself: they help build client sites, run QA before launch, draft outreach and keep Notion, mail and WhatsApp follow-ups moving. I also work with AI video and voice, connect tools through MCP, run models locally on a Mac Studio and experiment with an AI trading desk.

That’s what I bring to a talk: what works, what breaks, and where you as a human stay in charge.

“Thank you Ruben for integrating AI even more in our daily workflow. You were calm, eager to explain and listened to what we needed.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about AI workshops and talks

In which language do you give talks and workshops?+

In Dutch or English, your choice.

Where do the sessions take place?+

On location at your company, school or event, anywhere in Flanders (from Lokeren and the Waasland to Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels) and in the Netherlands. Online is possible in consultation.

Do participants need prior knowledge?+

No. Keynotes and the student edition need no prior knowledge. For hands-on workshops, participants bring a laptop; a free account of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot is enough to start.

Does this help with the AI-literacy obligation of the EU AI Act?+

Since 2 February 2025, organisations that use AI must take measures for sufficient AI literacy among their staff (art. 4). Theme 06 is built for that. It is training, not legal advice.

What does a talk or workshop cost?+

Keynote from €450, half-day workshop from €500 (up to 8 people, +€50 per extra person), full day from €900, school session from €250. All excl. VAT. You get a fixed price in the proposal.

What is the difference between an AI talk and an AI workshop?+

A talk or keynote (60–90 min) explains and demonstrates for an audience of any size. In a hands-on workshop (half or full day, max. 15 people) everyone works on their own laptop and leaves with something that works: prompts, a workflow or a first agent.

Do you give guest lectures on AI at schools?+

Yes. The school edition fits a lesson slot up to half a day: what AI really is, how to learn with it without cheating, and optionally a lab where students build their own site with AI. From €250 excl. VAT per session.

Can the workshop focus on ChatGPT, Copilot or a specific tool?+

Yes. The method works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. We use the tool your team already has, and agree on that in the prep call.

How far in advance should we book?+

Ideally three to four weeks ahead, so there is time for the prep call and tailoring. Shorter notice: just ask.
